On October 24th-25th we welcomed to Madrid (Spain) over 150 attendees from 26 countries across every continent for the International Urban Tree Diversity Conference UTD5 🌏 🌳

Researchers, practitioners, city planners and experts in arboriculture, urban forestry, urban ecology and urban planning came together to share insights on topics like: Using Tree Diversity to Mitigate Climate Change, Novel Approaches in Tree Selection, Emerging Technologies, Open Data and Citizen Engagement in Urban Forestry 🌳 🎓

The UTD5 program included 8 keynote speakers, 44 presentations, 1 round table and exhibitions and poster presentations.

We are honored to have had amazing keynote speakers such as Cecil Konijnendijk, Johan Östberg, Wendy Chen, Stefania Gasperini, Andrew Koeser, Rich Hauer, Andrew Hirons and Keith Sacre who delivered powerful talks on urban tree diversity and management, each bringing unique perspectives to the table.
